When I used to ownZombies!!! and it's three sequels, I put velcro on the back of all the terrain tiles and bought a piece of felt to adhere them to. This helped cut down on clumsy bumps and sneezes that disrupted the playing area.

It just occurred to me that this is the NZ forum and I'm a Yankee. Sorry for intruding.
i think you volunteered to ship us boardgames from the US.

I love the idea of opening a box and having all the basic cards laid out ready to go...

I'd prolly buy that if someone kickstarted it... (especially if it had some sort of clever modular system to house all the cards for all the expansions...)

Will be easier once the expansions have slowed down... I've totally blown out my custom box now that Dark Ages has arrived, but then it wasn't really working since Hinterlands really.

This is where a modular system would be good. A new layer to the "box" for each expansion... Then you just buy the ones you need...

I solved this problem by not buying the expansions cool Well, I have Prosperity. The base game and prosperity are in their original boxes.

I'm interested to see if anyone has done some DIY on their board games. This could be replacing parts, making your own inserts or components etc.

Upgrade Risk by substituting the component 'army' blocks or miniatures with the infantry miniatures from Axis & Allies.

- Each player has a specific A&A nation's set of miniatures.

- Use tank miniatures to represent 10 infantry to reduce board clutter.

- Use other A&A components for house rules.

I've got all of dominion in three of the big set box's. All the cards are sleeved then stored in small bags in their sets of 10. Then all the card sets that are from the same set are placed in a larger bag. The Kingdom cards and bags of sets are divided among the 3 box's. When it comes to playing I grab the bags for the sets I want and pull out some of the bagged cards and we are good to go. First person to buy a card from a pile opens that piles bag and empty bags remain to remind us a pile has emptied.

I use that same baggie approach - so much faster than mucking around with randomiser cards, but I store them all vertically in one of these

Prior to Dark Ages one box was big enough to hold all the kingdom cards (I had the base cards in a separate smaller box).

Mine are stored in slipcases, as seen here (kingdom cards only, base cards in the wooden box):

This photo was before Hinterlands, but that fits. Dark Ages does not. Currently waiting for Guilds before making a final plan.

I've been chugging away, slowly painting my Cadwallon: City of Thieves miniatures. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it! I notice with each one that they become less and less sloppy. The middle one with the two swords is one I painted this morning. Can't wait until they're all done, only 15 to go! I also noticed that all of my threads are taking over this forum. My bad >_>
