Hasn't anybody posted in here yet about the iOS app implementation of this game called Racer Feud. It's a little rough in spots, but I've been playing my tires off!

Been hoping someone would do a version of this for iOs. Seems a natural fit..especially for the tablet sized app devices!

Off to download...

Thanks,

Just a warning. They have just today submitted an update and coincidentally I'm find the app will not connect to the async server (the play is entirely async online). Not sure if the server problems are connected to the update, but in my experience these things generally are. They are switching from their own server to Game Center, so that probably explains it even more so.

Ooh a little higher, now a bit to the left, a little more, a little more, just a bit more. Oooh yes, that's the spot!

Understatement

They have the rules to Formula D(e) down pat which is a plus, but the scrolling around the map is dodgy. It lacks the here is where your result will get you that the Java App version has. It has spent the last week reminding me that a particular person accepted my friend request every single time I open the app and it boots people out of the game for not making a move at rather inconsistent time frames.

Agreed that there are bugs, and for some people that makes it unplayable. That's not been my experience though (ipad 2, iOS 6).

I havent played the java version, but the app definitely shows you all the possible areas you could land on depending on the die you select.

The java app does it after you roll, which is very useful.

Sweet! I wonder if that even occurred to the LindApp guys. I'll suggest it.

Re: [iOS] Racer Feud
Hopefully this can be the last iOS thread in the Formula D forums since Racer Feud now has its own VGG entry.
