I recently ordered this game, and while I did order a few expansions, simply due to price, I suspect I will want to expand this game through many of the maps in the file section for Formula D and De rather than through mounted maps. With that in mind, my current plan is to print off a few that I found the most appealing at a local Kinkos. I want the maps to not fall apart too easily though, so I'm looking for advice? What type of material should the maps be printed on? What other specifications should I take into account? I'd prefer not to pay more than 5$-10$ for each map, and the cheaper, the better. Any experienced advice out there I could take advantage of?

I have mine printed on a poster, but that might go above your pricerange unless you find a good discount (I do not know how Kinko charges).

Another option would be to print on vinyl, there are some pictures and advice from people who have tried that in the pictures section, look for a guy holding up a giant Indianapolis track.

Lastly, you could print it out on several sheets paper and glue it to some cardboard. There is a tutorial here that shows how you can make a board yourself, this can also be used if you have gone with the poster solution: link

Thanks, I actually found a few programs online that allow me to tile the maps, PosteRazor and PDFXchange. Since I already have a ream of cardstock paper in my home office, I am simply printing the maps onto those, and it works out great as that also make storage easy.

If it is not too expensive, I'd go for a nice canvass print (not a framed canvas, one you could roll up.

I think if you can keep the cost under the price of a new expansion, it would be worth it.

Alternatively, get your hands on an old flatscreen TV for cheap, lay it down flat and just load the image onto it

I've never laughed so hard at such a genius idea before!

I actually have an idea to build a gaming table with a screen as the base.
It would make loads of games easier to play

If you could somehow connect your ios device to it, then you have all sorts of game options.
