Setup
Players randomly determine which player will be the first to select a character. The selected player chooses first with following players selecting their characters in clockwise order from the starting player.
After selection is finished, the final player then chooses an opposing primary character to be their initial ‘target’. This continues in reverse order (counter clockwise) until all players have selected an initial target. The rules governing target selection are:
1. You may not choose a character that has already been selected as a target.
2. You may not choose a character that has selected your character as a target.
After characters and initial targets have been decided, the players randomly decide who will place first on the board. The first player chooses any space on the board for his primary character and any adjacent spaces for his secondary characters. In clockwise order, all remaining players also choose starting locations that are at least 5 spaces away from their target character.
Gameplay
Players take their turns as normal based on the turn order decided upon for placing their characters on the board. However, the following rules govern combat:
1. A player’s primary character may only attack their target primary character until the target has been defeated. After the initial target has been defeated a player’s primary character is free to attack any other primary character.
2. A player’s primary character may always attack any player’s secondary characters regardless of whether their primary target has been defeated.
3. A player’s secondary character has no attack limitations and may always attack any player’s primary characters and secondary characters.
Attacks: Attacks governed by the above rules are defined as any damage dealing card (including special cards such as Yoda's Force Push). However, the use of non damage dealing cards (such as Yoda's Insight) is not restricted.
Healing: You may use one action to discard as many cards as you wish (not just one per action) to heal your primary character the corresponding number of points.
Game End: The player controlling the last remaining primary character is the winner.
Enjoy!
