Wow. The answer to this one is a nice follow up to Tuesday's puzzle. Coincidence or conspiracy?

Well,
I wasn't in on the conspiracy
though I did consider using this answer in the text...

But with tonight's..

For those of us who are not up with current technology and the young crowd (even if I'm not that old myself), well, I have no idea what the heck is going on in that picture.

EDIT: After I found out exactly what the second part was it wasn't so hard. I feel like a dinosaur. It isn't "wih".

Just a question, are puzzles worth different amount of points? I've only done this a few days and this one only gave me one while the others have been two.

French... I had a feeling. Any tips for non-French speakers? I think I've got an appropriately French sounding word (words?) but have no idea how it's actually spelled to get a translation (is a translation necessary?).

No translation needed. The word is occassionally used in English speaking.

The left side should be fairly self-explanatory. On the right, that's the newest Nintendo (I think) game. Its name is on the box, right there in the picture.

Depending on your definition, occasionally may be a bit of an overstatement (that and maybe I'm not well read enough to get it). I got the answer very early, but had no idea (let alone how to spell it properly).

Super easy puzzle, but super obscure answer tonight. :(

Personally, I like the puzzle.
The right side had me perplexed due to me not being up to date with 21st century gadgets; I don't even have a cell phone for crying out loud.
Once I found appropriate help on the right side (weeeee!), it only took a couple minutes for my brain to put the two together because for the left half...
I wasn't off at all. :)

Edit: Had more of a response, but was afraid it was quite salty, so sent it to your Geekmail instead.

Yeah, I figured that out. What's got me is the pie. is it the type of pie I'm looking for? If so, I'm so very close to the answer and yet to far away since, when I cut out all the doubles, I still can't get the right answer.
