Formula De Java client can be downloaded and played with AI for free or a limited access online with humans.

At least the game itself is able to be put into english. of course, it took me a bit of messing around to find the download area, and then to set the game for english...

How do you say,

"I'm excited"

in French?

If only I spoke French. Any plans on an English version?

Anyone worked out how to register for online games?

I can get online, as far as the request for a username and password, but cannot find any place where you can register (either for free or paying) to be given a username.

In single player mode I have to toggle between applications (ie go from Formula de to say outlook then back again) to get the car to move or to have my dice rolled.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

This is very cool. In the single player mode is there any way to play a 3 lap race, or a championship rather than just a one off 1 lap race?

Ta,

Mike.....

(I have been thinking of getting Formula De, and this has increased my interest)

Just change the number of turns to 3 for a 3 lap race.

The site is in beta testing. You have to email the admins to get an account.

Thanks for the heads-up, this game is a lot of fun! I will have to read up on the rules, though, since I have only played Mini. :)

I downloaded the files from Rage after finding the link FLo711 mentioned, but it had only three additional circuits. Like others, I have been unable to open the files from the French FormuleDe Online web site. Does anyone have uncorrupted versions of the circuit files?
I'd love to be able to contact the folks in France, but I can't speak French.
