I'm stuck on 4 and 5. It seems like there are several options for 4 and I don't know which one to use.

How can you tell
Spoiler (click to reveal)
which ones are left?

Spoiler (click to reveal)
Can't do 4 columns on a side, because some words cross over.
Can't do words that read from left to right or vice versa because some words go up and down.

Assuming I've done everything else right, I now have:
Spoiler (click to reveal)
"EVERY LAST PERSON"

Now what? I'm oh-so-close.

Edit: The above 'spoiler' is NOT correct! See my next post for a correction.

OK. I'm ready for bed. I like this puzzle, but an hour is too darn long, so I am about to get VERY salty with what I've done so far, in hopes that someone can help me get the final answer. Read this at your own risk.

Spoiler (click to reveal)
I found the words in the list in the word search. The words that are 'left' are 'take every sixth used letter'. Taking every sixth used letter, I get 'first fourth'. The first and fourth words on the list are 'green' and 'third'.

And that's where I am. What now?

You're almost where I am at the time that I type this. Just ...
Spoiler (click to reveal)
Use the words with a 'green third', as it were.

EDIT: Instead ... and this is a MAJOR spoiler ...

.

.

.

Use the 'third' of every 'green'. Then it's off to the ol' anagram-solver to finish!

So does it mean:

Spoiler (click to reveal)
The word that has the third green letter? No.
The third word that can be anagrammed from all the green letters? No.
The same word as the one that contains the third green letter E? No.
A famous Green that played third base?

Any other ideas?

Spoiler (click to reveal)
Fairly obvious that "green" refers to the green letters, but could they be part of something more?

Spoiler (click to reveal)
Then the "third" may apply to that something more.

This may be too much salt....I'm not used to providing it.
