How would you get your games to the table if your gaming group was somewhat reluctant? Did you like our suggestions on the show? or do you have other ideas?

I guess it depends on how inflexible the group is. I suppose it would be pretty rare for a group of gamers friends to be so unwilling to at least TRY something.

But, assuming that is the case, why not just plan to host a game day with a prescribed agenda and invite people to attend. "Coming next Friday, at my house, I will be hosting a game night. Games planned include: ZOMBIES!!!, and Betrayal At The House On The Hill, among others. Please RSVP if you are interested and able to attend.".

ZOMBIES!!! is a thousand times better with the Quick Play rules, and Betrayal doesn't take very long either. The worst thing that could happen is that neither game goes over well, and then you play Power Grid or Ticket To Ride instead. There are far worse fates to suffer!

I agree on all counts. The invitational game day would also allow the host to bring in some new blood, which is a good thing because even one or two new players could change the group balance in the long run so more of the host's preferred games could hit the table with greater frequency.
