I'm having problems running this game on my home PC, although it works fine at work.

As soon as I select "New Game" & the player boards (child windows) appear I get the error below.
I think it's occurring as the "Select a Role" popup is trying to be displayed. That popup never
appears & the game is unable to begin (the sliders work, so it's not locked up, but nothing can
be selected). The same thing occurs in an AI-only game.

I have tried both 1.0b & 1.0d versions, with identical results. Maybe it's some
sort of .Net incompatibility?


If anyone's had experience solving this one, I'd appreciated hearing from you!

Edit: This error can also be generated from the menus
(even before beginning a new game!) by selecting:
Options --> Message Speed --> [any option]
