Table talk?
I was wondering what level of table talk people play with, and how it affects the game. Do you prefer for players to stay silent unless bidding or calling? Do you allow open statements like "I have three fours" (which, of course, may be a lie just to get people to call before it gets to you)?

I think the game might be fun if, once each turn, you can ask any one player at the table how many of a certain value they have. This gives a bit more of an opportunity to read other players and try to find when they're bluffing or not. I suggested it to my friends, but they said they didn't want to play with that rule.

Everyone is yelling, taunting, and B-Sing at the tops of their lungs when we play this game. I can't imagine playing it with less abandon would be any fun at all.

It's still fun, but more competitive I think. I prefer the "DOOD, you should SEE MY SIXES!!" version.

The name of the game says it all. It's about lieing. Believe what you will, but never play without a drink.
