Tie-breaker?
After playing an hour long game of Freight Train last night, my daughter and I ended up tied with the most points at the end of the game. I could not find anything about a tie-breaker in the rule book. Am I overlooking something, or is there truly no rule given for breaking ties. If this is the case, I find this frustrating, especially after a fairly lengthy sesssion. What tie-breaker systems, if any, would fans of this game suggest? I suggested to her that we use cars left in each person's private yard. I had one (I had already taken my one point penalty when the tie occurred); she had none. Therefore, I declared her the winner.

I don't know how old your daughter is, but declaring her the winner was probably the smart move anyway. :D

I don't find a 1 hour game to be long at all. Why not say, "Hey we're tied. Let's play again, winner take all!"

I definitely understand the "be the bigger man" argument and let the daughter win, but if playing with my regular gaming buddies, I would prefer a system for determining the winner. I know an hour is not that long, but I would still like some resolution. Just for the record my daughter is 18.
