diamant on dice?
Played on-line and real life 2, 3 and 4 player games

Keywords, Abstract, Race, Dice, Luck, downtime, Fun, Family, Quick, Fast, Gateway

ITS LIKE THIS:-
dice came 1st then diamante but I played diamante 1st. so it if I was describing this game id call it diamante with dice feel a lot like that but no theme, though some have speculated a mountain theme….

not played yahatzee in many years to be able to compare to that. but I remember game like that for having to always look at the rules sheet for scouring which I didn’t like, this has no rules sheet, state of play of every one is plain to see.

1st I was afraid I was petrified, to get this game thinking it too light to random buts its kind of light random I like, like loco or for sale? and of course diamante,

Its quick easy to explain and remember and also has nice sold plastic bits.(wooden version might make it more grown up, portable flexible version would be a dream, e.g print it on a bandana with draw strings ooh that’s a good idea)

RULES:-
the game roll dice and push you luck, stop before getting greedy
basically roll 4 dice you must make 2 pairs of numbers each number made up of two dice so you get 2 numbers in the range of 2 to 12

as you may or may not know certain numbers are more like to be rolled.
e.g 6,7,8 and other numbers less likely 2,12

so there the odds. you only get to try and roll 3 numbers on your turn,
so this limits your odds again. The 3 numbers you can roll each turn are chosen by your 1st few rolls eg. You roll 2,3,5,6 you can choose any combination of numbers there with 2 dice, 2-5= 7 (nice number) 6-3= 9 (ok number) or some other combination that’s you 1st 2 “runners set up”, you next roll you might roll 7 and 9 again in some combination of numbers and nto need your 3rd runner yet, but once you don’t roll and 7 or 9 you must start and 3rd and final runner that turn.

I’m not going into the rules to much here(or have I passed that?) basically I just told them, but seeing the easy numbers and the less easy numbers is very easy to see, as shown by the stop sign, the easier numbers you have to roll more i.e. 13 7s, the hard numbers on need 3, and variations in-between. really simple.

the aim of the game is to complete 3 columns of numbers before any one else complete 3 so it’s a race game. when you chicken out you leave markers behind of where you got up to and can continue from there next turn of you roll that number in your assignment phase again, if you ever fail to role any of you 3 runners that turn your bust and lose everything you gained so far that turn.

I think I’m making the game sound really more complicated then it is, just check the official rules I’m just trying to explain as I find people like to try and explain the rules in reviews for some reason so on to the bottom line!

Its push your luck! It’s a race game , if you don’t like random, don’t find it fun stay away,

BRAKE DOWN:-

this game is 65% random, 30% play the odds 5%stratagy and I think I’m being kind with my brake down there...

BAD BITS:-

There can be downtime between your turn there’s nothing to do but watch, but often your egging on your fellow players,

GOOD BITS:-
lucky players can come from poor start that luck for yaw,

CONCLUSION:-

The game gets a little harder as columns are completed by hard I mean odds can get a little harder to make some times.

e.g. Once someone has completed the 7 column no one else can complete that column any one else attempting the column has to give up.

Once you’ve played it you can quickly play again, and again and again,

You maybe getting a little dice/luck fatigue at play 3 or 4 dependent on group and person but it’s a starter game a filler game a game children might like? A game for parties possibly.

Personally I love it, I prefer it to diamante, probably still prefer loco to this feel a bit more in control there.

I’d play it any time, play at pub it was more portable.

Online version has a lovely scream sound effect when you crash out. I which the board game had a electronic button for that 

.you feeling lucky punk? get this game light fun for all the family, good 2ndy back up to ingenious

p.s is this my best review style yet? tryed to cover everything maybe its easier with a game you like.
