You put me on the right track, so in exchange, I'll put you on the left track. (Get it? I sure hope so.)

A really famous book and numerous movies have taken place in this cathedral. This picture is from the side of the cathedral, most people are more familiar with the front of it.

So close but yet so clueless, thanks for the help. Any clues for the easy so I don't give it away like I did for the hard?

You have to change the numbers to letters, but not in the usual way.

OK, that's not really helping. Can you be a little less vague please? :D

Leadfoot, are you out there? Do you have any salt for the patent puzzle? Are you supposed to use w rod from the patent then apply Tanga #'s and look up a new patent with those numbers. Seems like there's so many possibilites. The patent's owner, etc.

With you there. I've got all the patents up in separate tabs in my browser. Can't see anything to do with them though.

revchewie did you get it yet? i haven't really spent anymore time on it - too damn frustrating.

Nope, no luck. The only thing that makes any sense to me would be the first letters of the names of the items patented. But that gives "combiver". No help there. Googling that gives some drug that's part of the AIDS cocktail. Again, no help that I can see.

Ha! I had combiver (also comboder) and put in "combiner" for the hell of it. There 8 patents but the patent #'s themselves are only 7 #'s long so I'm wondering if the answer is, indeed, a number. I wish there was more salt over at Tanga. I have SUCKED yesterday and today.

Each of your first two guesses were off by just one letter.
