Card Shufflers and Card Damage
I just bought a battery-powered card shuffler. Before I use it on anything other than a standard deck of cards, I want to ask if anyone can share any information on what sort of wear and tear, if any, they inflict on cards.

I would love to use this with the large-format cards in some of my euro games, but only if there is little risk of accelerated wear and tear.

These shufflers can easily jam, and in these cases cards can get scuffed from the machine. They can also cause edge wear.

I have one and only very rarely use it. And during those occasions, I'm very careful to shuffle only small amounts of cards each time.

That thing will probably end up in the next thrift store bag.
