FLASH: Black Plague EPIDEMIC leads to Multiple OUTBREAKS!
March 2 - Madison, WI:

The Black plague destroyed the world - NO CURES FOUND!
After a mother had listened to the heroics of her 8-1/2 yr old boy all weekend she wanted to try her hand at saving the world.

Late Sunday evening the world was safe and then the box was opened and the Black Palgue began to kill, and spread like wild fire. It all started with an innocent epidemic of the Asian Red Pox. The pox epidemic was centered near HongKong. This was followed closly by some reports of the Black plague in and arounf the middle east. Finally the Blue Flu struck the gaming meca of Essen Germany and what followed can only be described as disaster. There was another epidemic of the Black Plague, but this triggered multiple chain reaction outbreaks and in less than the time it takes to complete a turn the world was covered with disease. The Asian Red Pox has spread to the United States and was confirmed to be in LA California. The Black Plague had spread from the middle east all the way to Asia in the east and finally Paris and the final killer blow Essen to the north. With no more Black Plague to go around the world as we knew it came to an end. There were no cures discovered and this entire game was over in all of 22 minutes from start to finish.

Maybe next time the parents will be smart enough to play the game before the 8-1/2 yr old boy goes to bed as he seems to make a better Scientist than mom....:shake:

Just to be sure - you know that an outbreak only occurs when you're supposed to place the 4th cube of one color in a city, right? So if a city has 2 black cubes and one red and another black gets added - no outbreak. It sounds like you just had an unlucky run of infection cards in multiple places, but I just wanted to be sure. I'm loving this game and the session reports coming out of it are great.

un-lucky is part of it, inexperience is another part, my sitting the last action of a turn at a research station with 5 black cards about to cure black on my last turn was the final straw.
