If you like Monopoly and the 1997 movie "Batman and Robin then you stand a chance to like this edition.
The few things I liked were the themed pewter tokens (Batmobile, Motorcycle, Freeze-Mobile, Poison Ivy Leaf, etc....) and the themed Gotham money. The Batman cards and the Robin cards are an OK substitute for chance and community chest.
Another positive point to the game are the pictures and places substituted on the board for the old street names of Atlantic city. The pictures are of good quality and are taken directly from shots in the movie.
The "House" and "Hotel" pieces are standard Monopoly issue, but colored gray and red to match the theming of the game.
Where this game misses (like other themed Monopoly games) is on the corner spaces. There was a good opportunity to theme the Go, Jail, Free Parking, and Go to Jail spaces, but for some reason this was not done. I would have liked to see perhaps the Batmobile on "Free Parking", Commissioner Gordon on "Go to Jail", Mr. Freeze's cell for "Jail" and perhaps a city hall for "Go".
I really felt there was a missed opportunity there.
Otherwise this is a standard Monopoly game. No special Batman rules that I could tell. It might be worth picking up at a garage sale or thrift store if you are a fan.
