AT Generation Ship Modular Location Card based Game
I was going to reply in another member's thread, but didn't want to hijack it / steal his thread. So I decided to make my own.

I've been working on a slightly similar concept but it is more of an overview as opposed to directly character based ala Space Hulk.

Using a deck of 3x5" Location Cards, you build a ship with face down cards. Each player is in control of a colony that has made a portion of the Generation / Colony ship its home. 1,000 years have passed and much of the knowledge of the ship has been lost. AI's still trade information with each other about the various factions / colonies thus a player's knowledge of where other players are, etc.

Something has happened to the ship, an incident, and the AIs urge the player factions to reclaim the lost portion of the ship, fix it and take control. Each player is attempting to not only lead the ship but also fill objectives unique to each Colony through the use of Scientist, Military, Command, Robotic and Generic Colonist 'units' collecting resources to build their colony up and make their way through the ship.

No aliens, no magic, a custom made science fiction world with believable but interesting technology.

I have the rules pdf'ed out and have been play testing it with not only friends, but random gamers in town to get their input on balancing it and smoothing out the rough edges.

Sounds very interesting. When yo say units, you mean individual persons? or groups?

Currently each 'unit' is a group of individuals from that player's colony. For the playing prototype, I'm using plastic poker chips with a sticker on each side showing the Unit type and if it is 'used' or 'fresh'.

Sounds pretty cool. Is this a spinner to generate a state of gravity or is the more advanced technologically?

The original game will use slightly more advanced tech. Enough to generate artificial gravity and generation ships w/ robots but not enough to have battlearmor and megatron running around.

I've shifted to 5"x5" tiles though may shrink it down to 4"x4" in the future to save space. The game has shifted into an adversarial cooperative game as all the players are trying to save the ship while besting the other factions to achieve the status of Captain.
