Hi! I recently relocated from Colorado to Switzerland for work. My new apartment is in Chez-le-Bart (half way between Neuchatel and Yverdon). I spent the last couple weeks moving in and am itching to play some games again. Are there any gaming groups nearby? Neuchatel? Yverdon? Lausanne? Beil/Bienne? Bern? Any chance any of them would speak enlish at all? I'm learning French but it's so exhausting at this point and I'm not very far along in my studies.

My favorite games at the moment are Through the Ages and Agricola. I'll always be up for a game of some variety of Catan though I tend to like the longer, more strategic games. I'm always up for learning new games. Anything to get my gaming fix and to meet some new people.

Are there game stores in this area? Or gaming conventions anywhere in Switzerland during the year? I made it to Spiel last year and will be returning again this year, but that's a ways away.

Thanks!

-Kristin

Seconded heavily. They manage to have a startling selection and are often cheaper than other game stores in CH.

Thank you! Ahhhh.... Starting to feel at home with a few options around. I've missed my gaming group.

Any idea if Drachen Nachst will be open this Friday? I have a four day weekend and was planning on doing some shopping in Bern Friday. The big stores seem to be open, but I'm still not sure about the smaller stuff.

If there have been so many threads on Swiss gaming options, why isn't there a Swiss folder? It would make things much easier!

Thank you!!!

-Kristin

I'm not sure if they will be open, but I'd be surprised if they weren't. They have a website with contact details (http://www.fatamorgana.ch) though, and sometimes even respond to email.
