Original Post
Episode 24 will post later this week - probably Friday. Either in this episode, or shortly after, all of the submitted music will go up, and we'll post the list of all entries.
Instead of waiting for the episode to post I'd like our listeners to get a running start at some of our key topics of this episode and see what thoughts are before the episode starts.
The big segment is Scott and Donald interviewing Greg Schloesser about the International Gamers Awards. (Scott Erik and Donald could not get together for a round table, so this is being run in its place.)
1. What game awards matter to you? Why or why not?
2. Do you think that if a non gamer buys a bad game with an award on it that could be bad for the hobby?
In a short Games in Education segment Giles talks about a new resource for teachers, librarians, and parents.
1. What resources do you know of that would be suitable for educators or parents?
No Ben this time, he thinks he's covered everything well enough and his job is done.
(Just kidding!) but here would be a good place to let him know if there are any parts of BGG you'd like him to cover. In the out takes there is more discussion between Greg and Scott, but there was much thumping on the table and other more background noise so I held it to the end. This discussion was about introducing games to non gamers, and games in libraries.
