This is a quote from Hanno below:
Quote:
So the latest news, Agricola DE, PL and EN are ready and shipped from the factory. The other languages will follow the next few days.

This is from the following thread:

Will Z-Man pre-order people be provided with tracking numbers, or should I just setup camp by the mailbox?

Re: Agricola Has Shipped!
Shipped from the factory to Z-Man, then there's the time it will take Z-Man to ship the single copies to pre-order people, then the bulk copies to the distributors...

So.. if I understood this right, the boxes are now shipped from the factory in Germany to US to Z-man (with the usual customs delay), then they will be shipped back to Europe to the retailers from where they will be distributed to European buyers.

Seems it's still a long way off...

Good news indeed...thanks for the update !

Hopefully the house goat doesn't chew up too many of the copies during the voyage to the US.....

I'll celebrate this evening with a glass of wine (or two...) while re-reading Melissa's awesome translation of the games instructions.

If Agricola makes it to US customers before the Hannibal generals this will just be a travesty.

My understanding was that it is JKLM (in the UK) that ships the english versions to european customers.

FYI, I've been offline for a while due to many different things. I am told that on Monday the games will start shipping to my European distributors. JKLM among them - who will then distribute to European preorderers. If my info is correct the Z-deck will be in ALL preorders. NOT sent separately.

The games coming to the US I assume will also be sent next week but I do not have a firm date yet. Then it is 2-3 weeks travel and customs time (assuming no major delay at customs).

That's the best info I got so far.

Yes for those that pre-ordered from Z-Man.

Presumably if Zev has got his head screwed on straight a certain number would go to JKLM (who distribute to retail outlets) direct from Germany with instructions not to release it to retailers (or through their retail outlet) until a certain day/they receive a phone-call. There is no sense in shipping to the US and then back again for the hell of it (extra paperwork and cost).

Beaten to the punch - yes Zev has got his head screwed on straight.

PS - yeah that means I should get my Agricola with animeeples and stuff next week if JKLM pull their finger out.

A container in a ship labeled as Agricola... Wonder if US customs won't "randomly pick" that container for extra screening... I bet the FDA will have a say in that one...

I'm celebrating by hiring a pirate ship and scheduling an intercept.

:arrrh:

Sounds like this may be in hand for my July games dates, but not my June ones.

Fair enough.

Would be great to have it in hand for the 4th of July weekend, but that's a pipe dream.

And even if Zev didn't have his head screwed on straight, if JKLM have their head screwed on straight then they will have arranged with Zev for this to happen...

They're not expected to reach JKLM until the middle of next week, so it'll be pushing it for any of them to reach people by then. And of course, it all depends on exactly how long the postal services take to ship them, once they have been sent on by JKLM.

So around the 3rd week of July. Just when I will be on vacation. Well this hopefully will mean it will be waiting for me when I get back. I keep having nightmares that it won't come and I'll call Zev and he'll say "I have no record of your pre-order". Then I show him my CC receipt. Oh opps he says sorry they are all sold out but I'll get you one as soon as the next print run is done
