Am I to understand that I get the wooden ship only if I am successful at winning an airship card and not a expansion card? Also I have to hold on to it until it's my turn again to be able to use it. (Unless I turn in 3 bonus chips to get a second turn) So if one of the 3 other people playing get an airship card I lose it.
Also.. if someone earns the "airship" by building part of the Hindenburg... then it can only be taken off them by someone who builds another part of the Hindenburg (i.e. not a regular airship) and so on.
Also, there's some badly written text in the English rules that makes it sound like you have to *spend* the wooden airship to use it; you don't, it's just an automatic +1 to every roll while you have it.
