Brief video review of Monty Python Fluxx
As an episode of Scott's Stuff, I did a brief video review of Monty Python Fluxx. It's still Fluxx.

Thanks for the info. I'm not a huge Fluxx fan, but you can't go wrong with Monty Python, so it looks like it's worth picking up...

Ooh, conflicted. The singing and outrageous accent might at least keep the game entertaining.

I had to pick this one up. I would be disappointing me inner geek if I didn't.

The gameplay is just like original Fluxx, plus Creepers (introduced during Zombie Fluxx), and a light sprinkling of behavioral cards -- quoting and singing Python, etc...

I'd never played Zombie Fluxx before, so the Creeper thing was new to me. It's a good addition to the game. In my book, Monty Python ranks as the highest Fluxx game, mainly because the chaotic nature of the game PERFECTLY suits the world of Python, with it's disjointed and downright ludicrous themes.

I've been playing this with my kids adn it has proved an excellent gateway game.

Not a gateway to other games, but a gateway to Monty Python. They wanted to see where all the silly themes and items came from.

Straight to google video and a shedload of old monty Python sketches later they are confirmed fans.:)

Downside is I now have a seven year old who threatens to say "Ni" at me until I give her what she wants.:(
