Hi guys,

I'm pretty new to the Memoir series and haven't seen too many scenarios, but I've noticed a distinct lack of scenarios where timing is related to the victory conditions, such as hold the town for X turns for a medal, or exit so many units off the board before such and such turn, etc. I realize the game system isn't really set up to track turns, but it certainly seems doable. Are there any scenarios out there that use this in their Victory Conditions?

The scenario that made me think of it is the introductory "Pegasus Bridge" scenario in the base game, where the Germans are heavily outnumbered and there really isn't any motivation for the British to really storm the bridge to secure it as soon as possible like they did historically, which allows the British to attack the bridges slowly and methodically and win almost every time (in my limited experience). It seems the scenario could have been made much more tense and balanced by giving the British some sort of time limit.

There is one scenario in the basic game where the Axis side wins if the deck runs out (you don't shuffle for Their Finest Hour).

custom scenario Fall weiss (one of the most popular among custom scenarios in memoir44 site) has the axis to reach at least one of 2 cities unless it cant win: its sorta of a race against time for him to get her before the polish scores too many points :)

Re: Time-limited Victory Conditions?
The scenarios are not meant as whole battles.
Many scenarios are 'only' first wave, day one and so on.
So if for example the Brits captures Pegasus bridge, you don't get to counterattack with the Germans to try and re-capture the bridges - but that could be a new scenarios made by you!
