2 Errors found by Zoltan:
1. On page 3 it says that "16 points on the shares track" is one of the six victory conditions but it should be "18 points ..."
2. On page 14 the Bribed part(!) of the Communications says "At the end of the director's meeting" but it should be "At the beginning ..."

ARCHENEMY CARDS
- competence cards - what is the "experience" track that is listed on
the cards? Is it in fact the "counsel" track.

RULEBOOK
- p02 table of content - "lineup" should be "object of the game"
- p02 table of content - "Startaufstellung" should be "lineup"
- p02 game components - the orange manager figure should be green
- p02 game components - "share track" should be "shares track" in the baloon
- p02 game components - "divisionary head" should be "division head"
- p04 I: directors' meeting - "determine a new divisional head" could
be "determine new divisional heads" or "determine new division heads"
- p05 electing a new chairman - " determining factor." should be
removed. also, the sentence following this is repetitive and confusing
- p05 electing a new chairman - "after he principle" should be "after
the principle"
- p05 determining divisional heads - "divisional" could be "division"
- p05 determining divisional heads - should "A possibly" be "The"?
- p05 determining divisional heads - "closest to the top" should be
"closest to the top wins"
- p05 determining divisional heads - "constellations" could be "outcomes"
- p05 determining divisional heads - "head. Yellow" should be "head
and 3 employees. Yellow"
- p06 sorting event cards - "as 5th" should be "as the 5th" or "the 5th"
- p09 founding departments example - the picture has the board in german
- p09 restructuring departments example - "department" shouldn't be
italicized, while "development" should be italicized
- p10 bribing other players - "you can get for a divisional" could be
"you can get as a divisional"
- p10 accepting the offer - "in front himself" should be "in front of himself"
- p12 privilege cards Chairman - "create any exactly" should be "create exactly"
- p12 privilege cards Chairman - "place them both the manager and the
employee" should be "place them both" or "place both the manager and
the employee"
- p13 Accounting example - "block of shares of 5 shares" could be
"block of shares with 5 shares"
- p14 Development exampe - the privilege card name and the division
name aren't italicized
- p15 Human Resources bribed light box - "1 additional new employees"
should be "1 additional new employee"
- p15 Human Resources bribed light box - "2 additional new employee"
should be "2 additional new employees"
- p15 Legal & PAtents - the paragraph name doesn't have large starting
letters, as the rest of the privilege card names
- p16 thanks 2nd paragraph - "Thor aus Augsburg" - is this his name or
should it be "Thor from Augsburg"?
- p16 thanks 3rd paragraph- "Special Tanks" should be "Special Thanks"
- the paper the rulebook is printed on is quite brittle. I creased it
just once and a staple has eaten through two pages. So that the
rulebook will fall apart quite easily and quickly (I fixed this by
sewing the pages together

BOX LID
- it states 2-5 players, while the rules are 3-5 players
- "...practice tactics" under the eggertspiele logo is in german (on
the front and sides), while on the box back is in english

BOX BACK
- it states 2-5 players, while the rules are 3-5 players
- the picture of the play example has got orange managers (which
aren't in the game)
- the topmost department in 'legal & patents' is without any employees

SPRUES (privilege cards and shares)
- you have a blank privilege card. It would be good to print the back
of that card, so that it could be used as a spare in case of damage,
and it's also usefull in a 4p game to give each player at start the
same amount of privilege cards (one of which will be blank)

GAMEBOARD
- Counsel - "Human Ressources" should be "Human Resources"
- Board of Directors - "Vize" should be "Vice"
- Division Heads - "Human Ressources" should be "Human Resources"
- Division Heads - "Communication" should be "Communications"

MANAGERS
- the green ones are quite thinly coloured so they look washed up,
while the paint job of the other colours is great

BRIBE FOLDERS
- rounded corners would be better than the sharp, square ones

PRIVILEGE CARDS
- Development Bribed - "employee" should be "employees"
- Legal & Patents - "employees" should be "employee"
- Legal & Patents Bribed - "point" should be "points"
- Chairman Bribed - "an employee" could be "employees" or "any employees"

EVENT CARDS
- event motivation -1 - "spa installed on the the board level" should
be "spa installed on the board level"
- standard event directors' meeting - "determine a new divisional
head" could be "determine new divisional heads"

REMINDER CARDS
- they could have been doublesided (same text on both sides)
- directors' meeting procedure - "determine a new divisional head"
could be "determine new divisional heads" or "determine new division
heads"

QUICK GUIDES
- Actions A - "department/main department" should be "departments/main
departments"
- Actions D - "dismiss all employees of that division, close all
departments" should be "dismiss all own employees of that division,
close all own departments"
- Legal & Patents - "employees" should be "employee"
- Legal & Patents Bribed - "point" should be "points"
- Development Bribed - "employee" should be "employees"
- Chairman Bribed - "an employee" could be "employees" or "any employees"

Rules to discuss
The chairman's privilege is to found 1 new department with an
employee. Can he move other employees in right away as in a normal
"founding new department" action?

My Answer was "yes, he can". But this is not explicit written in the rules.

Errors and Comments by Peter

A few things I noticed (that you may not want to hear):
On the Card for Rechte & Patente it says gesschmiert instead of geschmiert (2×s) (also in the description of the privilegecards in the rules)

On the first page of the German rules (explanation of the tracks:
Korruptionssleiste -> Korruptionsleiste (2×s)
Beratungssleiste -> Beratungsleiste (2×s)
Motivationssleiste -> Motivationsleiste (2×s)

Page 8 English Rules: Moron card: 2e alinea added: If during this event... This part is not in the German rules
Page 8 German Rules: Die einzelnen Aktionen... not in English Rules
English gameboard: Human Ressources -> Human Resources

The background of page 3 is a little different than the other pages. Just noticed it when scrolling through the typeset rules with Acrobat. Not a major thing, as nobody will notice it in the printed rules and it isn't functional anyway.

Nice work, guys ! It's good to see a designer trying to correct as many rule mistakes as possible after a game is released (I whish they'd do the same for Stronghold... ).

I'll try to modify the French rules next week and upload a 2d version of the file on the sites I posted it.

I still have one font missing: Myriad Pro Semibold Condensed.
Should I replace with Myriad Pro Bold Condensed?

Anyone else has this problem?

Yesterday I tried to open the Mac version of the rules under Windows and (having no experience with InDesign) I immediately faced this font problem. Then, today I had the notification in my mailbox about this tread and after following the instructions the problem was solved. Thanks for sharing the information

Unfortunaly I have another problem. The Hungarian language is using two characters (ő and ű, both with double acute). These characters are not included in some fonts. In this case it is the Dolly font. When I try to type any of these characters InDesign only inserts an empty character with pink background.
Does anyone know if the Dolly font exists in CE (Central European) version? Or is there some similar font that could be used instead of this one?

I can propose only following idea:

Is there any font which is similar to Dolly-Font? If yes, than use for the
"ő" and "ű" this similar font (if it is not too much work).

is there a font which is similar to Dolly and supports cyrillic letters. If yes, then I propose to use this one.

Thanks so far

Page 04 says: "Always occupy a free space that is furthest to the left."

but on illustration Blue player placed his first manager to the space that is nearest to the left, not furthest. Furthest from the left is nearest to right. Which is correct?

Also in text "Should all 5 spaces be occupied already and a player wants to add a further manager to the board, the following happens: All members of the board are moved one space further to the left. In that manner the figure furthest to the left is pushed out of the room, this manager is being dismissed. The player has to take it back to his stock, he may not replace it. Now a space has opened for the new member of the board"

should all furthest words be replaced with nearest?

In English "furthest to the left" means the same as "nearest to the left", but you should avoid it lest someone misread it as "furthest from the left".

With my less then perfect English I'll still continue to ask more questions, if you don't mind :

on p06:

"Now, the divisional head communications uses his privilege card."

sounds a bit strange to me. Should it be: "divisional head of communications"?

also, on p06: "Tip: While sorting you should place the event that is to be uncovered first to the back, so it will be on top of the stack later.
The directors’ meeting is now over and stage II begins with several department turns
."

Should the second sentence really be part of the tip? It sounds to me that it is an important explaination of the gameflow, not a part of the tip.

I modified the French version but I'm waiting a few days to see if my fellow franch-speaking gamers have found other typos in the first pdf.

Just my 2 cents for translators who'll use the InDesign file :
at the bottom of page 6, just before the picture of the event card sequence, the sentence announcing the end of the director's meeting should not be included in the Tip frame…

EDIT : Aaaah... Alexey... faster than me !

I used Bookman Old Style (until I got the Dolly fonts). The typeface is reasonably similar, however, the inter-character spacing is (a lot) wider. Also the numbers are bigger, and not "Old-Style" (e.g. the 5, 7, 9 do not extend below the baseline).Don't know if it's available in Cyrillic though.

In addition, "further" and "furthest" do not indicate distance. The correct words are "farther" and "farthest."

However, I agree that you might avoid this entirely. "Always occupy the leftmost free space." "All members of the board are moved one space to the left." "In that manner, the leftmost figure is pushed...."

Correct, "divisional head of communications."

"... you should place the event ... uncovered first to the back..." is not proper grammar, and it's not entirely obvious to me what you intended. Perhaps you mean, "Tip: While sorting (the cards, the whatever), you should place the event that is be to uncovered first on the back of the stack. This will ensure that it's on the top of the stack later." Or something like that.

Or perhaps, "... you should place the card for the first event on the back of the stack."
