Games Shops in Berlin
This list was taken from r.g.b in 2001 so I don't know how up to date it is. I do remember that the Karstadt store at Hermannplatz is only 5 minutes walk from the Spielbrett shop in Körtestr. I also remember that the "big box" games were cheaper in the department stores than in the specialist games stores.

Spielbrett
Körtestr. 27, 10967 Berlin
Phone +49-30-6924250
Nearest Underground station: Südstern (U7)
Excellent range of German games plus a few imported games. And they know what they sell, too! Probably the best of the Berlin shops. Usually a bit more expensive than department stores, though.
Spielbrett
Berliner Str. 132, 10715 Berlin
Phone +49-30-8731535
Nearest Underground station: Blissestraße (U7)
2nd shop of same company.
Serious Games
Bundesallee 83, 12161 Berlin
Phone +49-30-85962903
Nearest Underground station: Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz or Walther-Schreiber-Platz (both U9)
Large shop, German games plus a good range of imported games. Mainly, though, role-playing and tabletop games. Also comics and paraphernalia.
Kreatiwiti Spieleantiquariat
Parkcenter, Am Treptower Park 14, 12435 Berlin
Phone/Fax +49-30-6232937
Nearest station: Am Treptower Park (S4, S6, S8, S9)
Excellent little shop- they have a large stock of German boardgames (used, plus a few new ones) and are prepared to do mail orders. No catalogue because of the quick turnaround of stock. Definitely worth a visit. Shop used to be closed on Mondays- maybe it still is.
Comics und Spiele
Baruther Str. 10, 10961 Berlin
Phone +49-30-6943855
Nearest Underground station: Mehringdamm (U7)
Used German games and comics. Impressive supply in a dusty cellar shop- don't be afraid, just dive into it. Also CCG "stock exchange".
Beutelsend
Karl-Marx-Str. 30 (corner of Reuterstr.), 12043 Berlin
Phone: +49-30-62370-60, -66
Nearest Underground station: Hermannplatz (U7)
Specializing in role-playing and tabletops, but also some imported games that fit into the range. Also fantasy books in German and English language. Staff knows what it sells, too.
Drachenschmiede
Schönleinstr. 29, 10967 Berlin
Phone +49-30-69042017
Nearest Underground station: Kottbusser Damm/Schönleinstr. (U8)
Probably the best supplier for the LARP addict, and run by such. Everything you need, including beverages like mead.
Grumpf
Brunowstr. 10, 13507 Berlin (Tegel)
Phone +49-30-4339605
Role-playing games.
Department Stores
(e.g. Karstadt, Hertie, Wertheim, KaDeWe) Most of them also also carry a reasonable range of current German games, and sometimes you can find real bargains there. I'd recommend a visit to the Karstadt store at Hermannplatz (underground U7) and to Hertie at Karl-Marx-Str. (underground Rathaus Neukölln, U7).

Hope this helps.

different there
It's different in Germany. Home of the German game, right? Decent games are more widely available. A place like the KaDeWe has a pretty decent selection of games as I recall...so, the big dept stores work to start...

Re: board game shops in Berlin
I got a similar list when I requested the same info and was actually disappointed (serious games, beutelsend. I don't like tabletop-CCG stores). And I had the particular luck that spielbrett obviously has a bit weird opening hours, so both stores were closed when I got there.
From the "big" stores (esp. if you want to buy Bohnanza. :D. ) I'd suggest Kahrstadt at Wilmersdorfer-Straße. Nearby, in the same shopping street, on the opposite side there's a toy and games shop (you'll notice). I found German Fürsten von Florenz there this October but couldn't buy immediately. Got back there 2 days later and it was gone. :gulp:
There's a very good shop directly at U9 Schloßstraße(2nd last station)or U9 Rathaus Steglitz(last station), don't remember which. I found Ursuppe there, among some other more rare games! I strongly recommend that one.
