It would have been neat if an additional event card (call it Seal Team Six, maybe) could have been added, but it's probably going to be a long time before we understand the ramifications of Bin Laden's assassination well enough to figure out its influence on the game.

If Jihadists had prestige in-game I'd say that it's been lowered.

As it is, them losing funding is the closest thing in game terms and I'd say more than adequate; sure Bin Laden lost his wealthy business bank accounts years ago, but he's still been a big rallying symbol and the loss of funding represents the loss of interested clerics and radical Islamist funding groups going to Jihad.

I haven't actually played. I was going to use my FB coupon, but it went OOS. What does the card do?

If the US plays Bin Ladin it causes -4 funding and +1 prestige. There are also 3 Special forces cards in the game representing SEALs and Rangers.

Rules will be updated to incorporate all known errata (there's not much).

Map drawing will show correct underlying map artwork.

That's about it that I can confirm for now.

Re: Reprint Announced!
I mean the map drawing will show correct country borders. I.E. no USSR. The map from the first printing has an incorrect drawing of country borders. This has ZERO impact on gameplay but it is, nonetheless, somewhat embarrassing.
