I would like to apply for league membership. I meet the minimum age requirement and am currently raising (along with my wife) two junior scapers, an 11 yr old boy and an 8 yr old girl. While Heroscape and Summoner Wars are our favorites, we're starting to expand our collection and have even recently (this past weekend) started painting miniatures. While I've been a regular follower of the League for a couple of years I really haven't had anything valuable to add to the discussion until now.

As we all know Heroscape continues to become harder and harder to find. While most of you have probably already heard of Auggie's I thought I should share my recent excellent experience with him (Andrew) so everyone might have a little more information as they complete (or downsize) their collections.

In order to assemble a "proper" Heroscape collection, I won a few rather large ebay auctions. I had great intentions of ebaying the duplicate figures and terrain but they just ended up setting in storage until recently. Realizing how big of a pain ebaying so many small auctions would be, I looked into Auggies. The pricing seemed very fair so with some trepidation (the total amount was over $2,000 USD) I boxed up my goodies and sent them off. I'm happy to report everything was received, processed, and money put in my Paypal account in short order. Andrew kept good communications with me saying that other than a few things being off everything looked good. I replied saying that I didn't want to cheat him out of anything and that he should adjust the total put in my account accordingly (to be fair I don't know if the counts were in his favor or my favor) but he still honored the original amount.

To summarize, I had a great experience with Auggies and plan on using them again.

Thanks for considering my application and hearing my Auggies customer service story.

Thank you and yes (and probably a few more unprintable ones) but mrkurtb is fine.

Well, that is in fact, a very beastly cookie.

Welcome, and calling all our posts valuable, that's quite a statement.

This League is home to a bunch of memorable posts that add little to none of value, but us squires enjoy all of the elderly extraordinary Masters posts.

Welcome to the League Mr Kurt B!

I would have been a little nervous about sending that package too, glad to hear it all went well! Personally I have only good experiences shopping with Auggies...

The cookie looks a bit (actually quite a lot!) like Krug, maybe it´s a Krookie?

It is great, not only do we have fun together but I'm absolutely convinced Heroscape has helped further their math and reading while spurring creativity. It would make a great unit for teachers.

But enough with the little ones, this is a gentlemen's (and gentlewomen's[?], ladies'[?], gentlepersons'[?]) league/organization/club. If a squire would be so kind as to fetch me a tall frosted glass of .... hmmmm water. Yeah, what can I say, I'm getting in shape so I can really get in shape this summer.

Cheers and scape on everyone!

Instead of bring you a beer, you could ask Squire Stig to take you on a bike ride. That will get in you shape (assuming you survive).

It's fair assumption by Sphere. I am known as the bikeride killer in my neighbourhood????

I have signed me and my wife up for a bikerace in early june. 92 kilometers on gravelroads and tarmac and some rough terrain. GOnna be fun.

I really need to make an effort to get in better shape. Since the little rascal in my avatar has been sleeping perfectly bad for a long time now, I have lost all willpower to go out on training rides.

Maybe I should start riding my bike to work again. Next week is a perfect time to do that. THey are talking about temperatures above 5 degrees celsius.

Squire Stig- not as fit a biker as Sphere assumes.

Dear Gentlefolks, may I direct your attention to this kick-starter: Gunship: First strike.

I decided to fund for the first time, because I think the idea is great and the implementation good. I have no experience with other kick-starter projects but this one seems to be doing extremly well (funded in under a day, two stretch goals achieved on the same day and now the third).

And if enough funding is reached, there even will be plastic miniatures.

I am not writing this as an advertisment, but because I think (after reading the rulebook), that this game really has potential.

Looks interesting, Alex. Speaking of Kickstarter, I have my own, somewhat subversive and vaguely related project here.

For me it has to be real snowball fights, I just came too late to the Heroscape party. Many opportunities for trading, but all of them in the USA :(

Well, I can ride up a hill, but there are the odd pro rider that does it slightly faster than me.whistle

I'm doing that race again this year, but it's not the one I'm doing with my wife.

And I like uphill better than downhill on a roadbike. The other way around on a mountainbike.

Hello Gentlemen,

I would like to make the request to join this illustrious League, but sadly only as a mere squire.
I am on the young side around these parts and have another 10 years to work off before I can make full membership.

In the mean time I would very much like to sit at the feet of you masters and glean the knowledge that spills forth from your mouths.
