Just wanted to comment on the 100th Anniversary Edition of the game published by Winning Moves. First off, the cards are of decidedly better quality than WM's previous edition, and this is good due to the nature of the game. And there are two decks in the box. Also good because Pit decks are like beer; you don't buy them, you rent them.
Missing the mark in two key respects is that the new eition has no bell. Boo hiss. I already had one from the previous edition; so I really just bought it to throw two new decks in the old box.
Second problem, however, is that they still don't have the cards uniquely identified in the left corner by numbers, and they still use commodities that start with the same letter. So you have to fan that hand out real wide to see what you have. Forgiveable in the 'classic' deck which, I'll take them at their word, is a faithful recreation of the original. But in the 21st century deck? Come on.
Anyway, some stray thoughts for those of you who were dying to know.
