The difference is that I needed to extend the width 1" so that's the main difference between the two. Also I opted not to install shelf J, it just wasn't necessary.
I glued and screwed 1x3s to give the plywood something to screw and glue against. The first PDF also shows the control panel I built. It doesn't show the tracball that is between the two joysticks. It also doubles as a mouse.
The only problem I had with the cabinet was that it's foot print was too narrow for my comfort (didn't want the kids to be playing hard and it tumble over). I bought two dining room table legs from Lowe's and attached them to the bottom diagonal piece (I can post pictures if needed).
Looking at my collection, I have to say that one of the best endings actually come from one of my most notable games: Catan. That race for the 10th victory point creates a lot of building suspense. And with so many point swing options, like the longest road and largest army, you're never quite sure what can happen.
