Today we are going to look at the Neutral Event "Fuel Shortage":
Fuel Shortage lets you keep opponent ranks of vehicles (tanks or other vehicles) at bay for a turn. Just play it at the beginning of your opponent's Main Phase and his or her vehicles cannot move for one turn. That lets you build up your defenses or attacking forces, giving you an edge over the opponent. If used at the right time, this card can be very useful and of tactical importence...
So tomorrow our little RAFFLE will end - at 1 pm Eastern Standard Time that is to be more precise. If you want to participate you still have some time left! Check it out here and win tons of geekgold or even a free Starter Set of Panzer Clash:
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/blogpost/4681/raffle-win-a-free...
So that is it for our card previews! I hope you enjoyed them. I for one did
This blog is not going to be dead after this however. I will still post updates about the game, planned expansions and will try to post some articles on strategy and deckbuilding!
Looking forward to that I remain,
Yours,
Andi

Today we are going to have a look at the Terrain Modifier "Barbed Wire":
Barbed Wire can be very useful do fend of hordes of enemy infrantry, dealing 2 damage to each Infantry Unit entering the space it is on. That should take care of any Infantry Unit, as most of them have a Defense of 2 or lower.
Well, the day after tomorrow Panzer Clash will be officially released! I am counting the hours already!
Until tomorrow, as always, keep on clashing!
Yours,
Andi

Today's card is the Neutral Event "Defensive Actions":
Defensive Actions can be very valueable in combat. If one of your tanks battles an opponent tank and would be destroyed in the process, just play Defensive Actions (being a Flash-Event, you can play it as a surprise - any time) and save your tank, so it can attack another tank next turn or go right for your opponent's Supply!
Simple and elegant yet very powerful if used the right way!
More to come tomorrow!

Andi

Today's card is the Neutral Event "Repair":
Repair is a very useful card. For just II, you can take any one of your destroyed tanks from your Junkyard and put it onto any unoccupied space in your Back Line. That means it can already move and surprise an unwary opponent who did not expect you to drop a tank anywhere near his or her Units.
You can also combine Repair with cards that put cards from your Supply (deck) into your Junkyard (discard pile) so you might end up discarding some heavy armor into your Junkyard, then being able to "repair" them and start an assault early on. A card that comes to mind for this strategy is "Japanese Infantry", which I showed you in an earlier card preview:
Drop the Infantry, which forces you to discard the top 5 cards from your Supply, on turn 1. If you are lucky some high-cost, powerful tanks are among the cards discarded so you can play Repair on turn 2 and place a strong tank in your Back Line, giving you quite a head start...
As always, more to come tomorrow!
Cheers,
Andi

Today's card is another "direct damage" card - the German "Jet Planes":
This Event card is pretty straightforward: At the cost of II it deals 4 damage to target player. It is best used late-game to push through these last few points of damage that stand between you and victory.
Well, five days left to official release of Panzer Clash! I am pretty excited! Are you??
Another card tomorrow!
Until then I remain,

Andi

Today I want to present you the single most powerful cost I tank card in the game, the American M24 Light Tank:
2 Attack, 2 Defense and 2 Movement - and all that for the mere cost of I. What more could you ask for? Your perfect drop on turn 1 and a decent addition to any Allies Deck.
More to come tomorrow!
Cheers,
Andi

Today's card is a very powerful Japanese Event:
For the mere cost of II, Infamous Attack lets you destroy up to 2 American Units (one or two that is). This card can easily turn the tide of war in your favor, if you are playing against an Allies deck featuring a good amount of American Units.
Until tomorrow for another card preview!
Cheers,
Andi
P.S.: One week till the official Panzer Clash release! The clock is ticking! Yay!!

Today we are going to look at one of the more powerful cards: The German Event "Secret Weapon":
At the cost of III and discarding the top 5 cards from your Supply (deck) you get to choose one of three very powerful effects: Either deal 5 damage to any target Unit (which kills about anything in the game), deal 5 damage to an opponent (most useful in late-game, when you are desperately trying to get through these last points of damage that you need for winning) or destroy ALL factories in one Factory Stack. Most of the time, the third effect will do the most harm. You will usually be able to take out 3 Factories in one cruel sweep and even destroy a Unit sitting on these Factories (Any time a Unit in Factory Zone has no factories underneath it, that Unit is destroyed immdiately).
The discard-5-cards-drawback can even be used for your advantage if you include a lot of Junkyard-Trigger cards like Salvage and Guerrilla Attack in your deck.
More to come tomorrow!

Andi

Today we are going to look at a very useful Soviet Event card:
For the affordable cost of just I, NKVD-Agents lets you draw 2 cards, then forcing you to discard one card from your hand. This can be tremendously useful to filter through your deck in order to find the right cards you need, while getting rid of "dead" cards, that is, cards you do not need, cannot use or do not want to use at that particular point in the game. As a bonus, NKVD-Agents has also a Junkyard-Trigger effect. So if you discard it (as a result of having taken damage or through a card effect) from your Supply (deck) to your Junkyard (Discard Pile), you get to draw 1 card for free. Pretty neat I think. NKVD Agents is a very good choice to include in any Allies deck.
Well, as always I will be back tomorrow with yet another card preview!
BTW: Nine days till release of Panzer Clash! YAY!!

Andi

Today I want to show you an American Permanent Event:
Permanent Events are played to suitable Factory-Stacks and have usually quite powerful long-term effects on the game. The downside however is that they are not cleared and put into the Junkyard during your next Standby-Phase as you would do with regular and Flash-Events, but just sit there and block up the Factory stack. Unless you figure out a way how to remove a Permanent-Event, there is no way to get rid of it once you played it. So be careful when and where to you play such a card...
American Industry has quite a nice effect. It basically makes your Factories indestructable. They cannot be targeted by opponent Events or Abilities and if one would be put into your Junkyard, it is not but stays where it is. This pretty much shuts down all the crippling resource control cards like Air Strike, Bomb Factories and the dreaded Nazi Secret Weapon.
Well, anothe preview tomorrow!
Until then, keep on clashing!
Yours,
Andi
