Empire of the Petal Throne was the second game published by TSR. The pre-publication run consisted of 50 mimeographed copies. This document is now available on RPGnow. The pages consists of the original mimeographed copy on the left side with a clean OCR on the right side. While essentially the same as the 1975 published version, it does contain some differences, such as the playtest notes at the end.

Get yourself some REAL old school!

Following on the heels of their successful Kickstarter, the Adventurer Conqueror King System system is now on sale! Written by Alex Macris, Tavis Allison, and Greg Tito and published by Autarch, the PDF version is $9.99 and comes with a coupon for $10 off the hardcover.

It's 247 pages long and attempts to solve some of the high level issues that have beset fantasy games fro their inception: what to do with all that money and those lands you've been given. The Domain level play is one of the highlights of the game system

AA#22 - Stonepick Crossing, now available

Avatar

Written by Mark MorrisonStonepick Crossing is #22 in the AA - Advanced Adventures line from Expeditious Retreat Press.

From the companies new release:
Quote:
The tiny town of Stonepick Crossing sits on top of an old dwarven dam holding built some 500 years ago to end a long war. Recognizing the futility of direct assault, the dwarves built the dam to flood the goblin caves, flushing the foul creatures out of their caves and into the slaughter of honest combat. Now 500 years later, the dwarves have moved on and a small thorp has sprung up.

Mystery surrounds the protected town and rumors abound: locals disappearing in the middle of the night, strange noises from underneath the dam and even rumors of a monster in the lake percolate through the community. Which rumors are true and which are the ale-addled ramblings of old men fearful of their own shadows?

Read all about it or just go pick it up from your favorite online site.
