Started to toy with the idea to re-theme this one: Magical Athlete
Hollywood characters try to beat the others to be able to make a new sequel for their film.

I think this one is done. I can come back and add more highlights etc. but at the moment it will be enough for gaming.
The water still needs some blue ink to smooth the white-blue edge.
(the table lamp has some awful light)

Started to paint smaller stuff + kraken.
Needs more work.
- finish the water effects, this is just plain blue now
- the weeds on the hydra
- teeth
- eyes
- ripped sail
- highlight bone
etc.
And basically everything on the kraken. Which will not be black if all goes well.
Also made progress on the markers from yesterday. No photos yet.

2 small news from me
1. I will basecoat the Dreadfleet ships this weekend, so I hope to start painting them next week.
2. I have found an interesting dice game being developed.
Dominant species express.
I have created landtiles for it. Not ready yet.

I do not know how long it will take the post to deliver my ships, but I have make a plan and think ahead about colour scheme etc.
Which ship would you like to see being painted first?
I was thinking about the dwarven ship as it looks easy. When I have the tempo, I could go ahead and choose other ships. I do not want to start with the huge empire ship. Or should I?

- I will change the "Space Marines" to "Tactical Marines"
- use the icon set of paratroopers for the assault marines, as now it is the special forces. A little mixup.

I like Man o War a lot, so I had to order this even when the scale does not match. The islands will be perfect and the ships look gorgeous.
As soon as I have it, I will track the painting here.

Using my card template I have tried something...
Item for Geeklist "This game is PERFECT for a WH/40K retheme!!!"
Not too good.
- too many things on the card.
- Mirroring the image made the text unreadable on the dread
Will try my other template that I used for Pandemic 40K + illustration, not photo

I know someone who asked me to help him create 9 card templates for his card game. The setting is XVIII. century.
I am not a pro, so I can only hope that the outcome will be satisfying for others not just for me. It is good for me, as I can practice my skills.
Also I am thinking about another re-theme for a game where the theme was putting some people off. I have 2 ideas for a re-theme. Something more decent than 4 evil gods ruining the world. You know which game it is...
I like the game a lot, but it is only the best if people know about Warhammer.
I know, this is not much info, but as soon as I have something to show, I will post it here.
