Sat down to play dungeon lords on saturday night, had a couple great games, and during putting the game away we realized we had lost one of the red scoring cards. Despite searching high and low, we could not find this card and since it is not vital to gameplay, called it a loss and put it away.
Sunday morning rolled around, and i decided to get a head start on my dishes. I placed all our dishes except the cutlery from last night into the sink, including the bowls from the ice cream we had enjoyed at the beginning of our game. After washing about half the dishes, i decided to leave them in the sink to soak and head off to church.
Upon returning to my home, i decided the dishwater was gross and drained it. To my amazement, i found the Red scoring card in the sink! It must have stuck to the bottom of one of the bowls, then been placed in the sink, scrubbed around with all the dishes(thankfully not the cutlery ) and survived. After a day wrapped in paper towel and put in a heavy book, the card is still in great shape, literally no discoloration or other evidence of its harrowing ordeal.
And im wondering if anyone has done something worse and not been punished by the forces of the universe?
