• Cyclades for iPad - Mar 8
It was easy to miss last week in Eric Martin's BGG News post featuring the highly distracting dancing Dungeon Twister video, and miss it I did. The last link in that post contained a video that shows Editions du Matagot a leading game company in France (publisher of Khronos, Utopia, Giants) appears to be readying an iPad version of Cyclades. This video (courtesly cued to 2:11 for your busy schedule) shows people at the Cannes 2011 game festival demoing/playing it. This blogger has no idea on release date and can't seem to find anything, but clearly the game looks very far along. Perhaps soon? Exciting!

• R&R Games Confirms Time's Up for iOS on April 1, 2011 - Mar 14
Flexing my budding bloggerly skills, I followed up on a rumor that the modern classic party game, Time's Up!, was soon to get the iOS treatment. The folks at R&R Games confirmed that it was true! Yippee!R&R Games wrote:Tentatively, April 1st looks to be the release date for the app. I will have confirmation on that shortly. It’s quite cool and will include access to a special expansion set that is unlike anything else we have available for the game.
• Big Daddy's Creations Seeks Your Input On Caylus - Mar 14
Here's your chance to give direct input to Big Daddy's Creations as they work to develop the BGG darling of 2006, Caylus, into an iOS app of crowd-pleasing goodness. They say they have got a good handle on AI and online multiplayer, but want you to feel free to express your ideas and concepts to them. They will try to address all propositions. We certainly like to see this level of collaborative spirit when it comes to iOS Board Games!
