I've been on a bit of a 2 player game kick recently. Finally getting around to playing all the project Gipf series again. Played TZAAR a few times now and find it pretty interesting or at least I feel like I can provide some competition. Also pulled out PÜNCT which I had played a few years ago and which I still seem pretty bad at playing. I'll be making my way way thru the rest of the games over the next few months.
I had learned Chase this summer from Mary and recently taught Bryon how to play. Really an interesting use of dice in this game-no rolling! I also like the wrap around board.
Cary taught me Gulf, Mobile & Ohio, a nice Winsome train game. Most Winsome don't play two very well but this one worked better than I thought it would. I am looking forward to trying it with 3 players though. In our game Cary jumped out to a big lead and I wasn't sure I'd catch up but we ended tied. Here is a picture of our end game

Fun, engrossing game of GM&O. With two, it's an economic tug-of-war.
