June 28th

Timm, Kevin and I broke out the beer and the cards and played some Sheepshead before Jeff arrived. It was a back and forth affair. Timm remained where he was at (lead) and Kevin and I swapped places. I am now in second. As always, full of chatting and smacktalk. We are starting the next time with a doubler.

Jeff arrived and we quickly settled on Puerto Rico with the expansion buildings again. Starting to have reservations in regards the the Library...the people who took it, again, ended up in first and second. Well, that is what Timm says. But, the difference between 2nd, 3rd, and 4th was a handful of points, so I still don't think it's broken. I played an awful game, I felt. Anyhoo, Kevin won with 60, Timm had 50, I had 49 and Jeff had 47.

We broke out the Skull in between games. Yes, I have a new bottle. We then set up the Crokinole board for some teams. It was Jeff and I versus Kevin and Timm. I suck suck suck at partner Crok. I'm quite solid playing singles, but partners, I dunno. I need help with it. Anyways, Jeff and I got crushed in two games. Next time.

We had a little time and, at least I, had a nice buzz going on. So, why not play Slappy Hands. Jeff had not experienced it either so it was perfect. Timm won the first game. We had started talking about getting something heavier than bottle caps to use. Next time we are going to try the cheap, plastic poker chips. We tried the Michael Graves plastic chips, but it was a bit too heavy. During the second game, I managed the win, EVEN AFTER LOSING MY HAND! My hand fell off the Slappy and I was using the sticky rubber string to pull the piece in and managed to do it. Damn, I'm an expert.
