Last Friday I wasn’t there for the first part of the evening so don’t know exactly what they played, but they were packing up Shadows over Camelot just as I returned – having just won 5 player, without a traitor. I made 6, so we split into two tables of 3, with Richard keen to try HeroQuest, which we’d talked about a few weeks ago. I chose Bohnanza for the other table, and after quite a lot of discussion about who would play what, Sami, James and I took Bohnanza downstairs, while Colin "taught" Richard and Marion how to play HeroQuest (taught in inverted commas, as actually he pretty much chucked them in the dungeon and told them to get on with it). Bohnanza was very close, with James just managing to win. After that I suggested Expedition, which James vaguely remembered playing but none of us had played in a while – Sami managed to get all his last few tickets down in a rush, ending the game slightly earlier than James and I had expected! We decided to finish with one of James’s favourites, Saint Petersburg.
