Thunderstone: Thornwood Siege is an expansion for Thunderstone and while it does not introduce any major new elements, it is a great set for its synergy and some spite.

I actually found the Raid and Siege components of Thornwood Siege to be extremely substantial as new elements. If either of these components come into play, the game becomes something entirely new in strategy and availability of resources.

I agree I think both new rules are good additions. I also appreciate that Thornwood Siege adds to the game without adding brand new elements. Up to this point every new expansion has added more cards (traps, guardians, new diseases, setting etc..). Thornwood Siege keeps things interesting while using existing elements. I appreciate that.
