My wife took the kids out, giving me a surprising moment of free time. I set up the lightbox, switched the black background in and chose Die Dolmengötter from the game shelves.
Here's the results:
This turned out a bit too soft, at least in JPG. The black background works with the strong colour, though.
Best of the bunch, in my opinion. Maybe a bit dark, but works. Also, the black background works here as well.
Composition is a bit messy, perhaps. Not as sharp as it could be. I used the kit lens, should've maybe taken the EF 50mm instead. The RAW looked sharper, the JPG conversion weakened the quality.
I shot these with the help of EOS utility, controlling the camera from my computer. That was fun and felt very professional.
Controlling the focus when remote shooting takes some more practise. Adjusting the exposure was very easy though. No camera shake whatsoever, when I don't have to touch the camera at all.
So, I'm not 100% satisfied with the quality of these photos... They are fine and used in a review serve their purpose, but as technical performances they are not perfect.
