Many of you know that I am a huge ASoIaF fan. It's a fantastic fantasy book series written by George R.R. Martin which had its HBO debut under the title of "A Game of Thrones". Sadly not many people realize that the acutal name of the series is ASoIaF because of this, but I'll let it slide.

Anywho, today I've stumbled upon a bunch of awesome GoT / ASoIaF things that aren't board games! Wowza! Let's have a look!

The first is this awesome map of Westeros that I'm thinking of having made into a cloth banner for my room (Full size map can be found here.)

The next is this awesome blog post about a sexy Taiwanese supermodel attending a GoT conference:

I'm also excited about the upcoming video game:

And finally we have a great video from CollegeHumor about AGoT if it were a traditional video game RPG. Enjoy!

Super like on this Taylor! Thanks for broadening my horizons on SoI&F even more!

As a rabid fan since '02, I always appreciate all things GoT.

These would be incredible as tapestries! How would/could one look into getting them made???

Cool stuff, thanks. The maps by Other in Law are pretty great, though maybe a bit too cutesy cartoony. Still, I'm sure he'd make a fortune selling posters of them if he can get the permission from GRRM.

Just an update:

I contacted someone at MVP Visuals ( http://www.mvpvisuals.com/) about making the map into a cloth banner. For one 5-6' long, with a weight at the bottom and a loop at the top to hang it, it would cost about $80. Since I'm unemployed right now, I am going to hold off on it. But perhaps in the future!
