Welcome to Larry and Melissa's blog. We focus on two player gaming and gaming with our two children, ages 10 & 8. This blog will feature random musings, gaming reports and reviews from both of us. We will also post some non-gaming thoughts from time to time. Feel free to join in the discussions.

Yesterday was quite hectic for the family as both kids had a basketball game, then I wanted to watch a college basketball game, then my daughter had a birthday party to attend that was about 45 minutes away and my son had a birthday party to attend as well. Add in the normal Saturday errands and there wasn't much time left for gaming.

I did get in two games of Blokus Trigon, my most recent game purchase. The first game was me, my son and daughter. I was able to get all my pieces placed for a 0, my daughter finished second with a score of 9 while my son finished last with 18.

My wife then joined us for our first 4 player game. My wife thought she was doing good but was soon blocked in. The results mirrored the first game: Me 6, daughter 8, son 21, wife 40?!?.

My daughter is really becoming a good player of abstract games.
