Bravey's Adventures in Painting Dust Tactics & Everything Else!

In this blog, I will be tracking the progress of my ever growing Dust Tactics/Warfare obsession. You will see such things as painted models, terrain I am making for use in Dust, and general commentary and musings on all things related to the ever growing world of Dust! Also, I will be writing about, and showing pictures of, any and all commissions I am doing, so stay tuned! Enjoy! Euen

Well, another crazy week has slipped on by...which means that is high time for an update!

For starters, I have finished those albino Axis Gorillas!

And also for the same person, I have started in on an Axis Medium assault Walker. Really liking the way the color scheme is working out on this one.

And, since we are talking about Dust Tactics, I managed to get Rhino painted up. I probably spent a total of 2 hours on him, broken up in 15 minute sessions. Still in need of a base, but otherwise, I am satisfied with him.

Of course, I have gotten some more done on Space Hulk. These guys just need the crosses on their shoulders painted on+a couple other teeny things, they are done. I also have 6 Genestealers in the works, but I won’t be bothering with pictures until they are finished.

On a miscellaneous note, I’m teaching myself to play guitar, and I think it is going well, as I can now keep up a solid beat and rhythm for exactly 1 minute. Heh. Still, I have only been practicing for 3 days, so I guess I am doing OK...It sure is a heck-ton harder that it looks! Hoping to get myself a bass guitar after I have gotten in a bit more practice, that way, my cousins and I can get together and do some jam sessions.

Anyways, hope you guys like what you see!

Cheers!

I got myself an acoustic guitar two years ago, also hoping to teach myself how to play it. I had played electric keyboard for years, so I was very familiar with sheet music and chords and stuff. I can nowadays play simple beats with simple chords and sing something (badly, I may add), but on the other hand, that's exactly what I wanted to achieve. I never really wanted to master guitar. I just wanted to play guitar while singing

By the way, those Gorillas look absolutely awesome!
