The Royal Society has made it to Essen and have put together a special podcast episode from this fantastic game fair. With a more informal format than usual, we discuss our impressions of the show, some of the games that seem to be generating buzz or selling out, some of the games we've played or bought, and our opinions on hot new releases such as Risk Legacy (or Risiko Evolution, as it is in German) and Donald X. Vaccarino's new game Kingdom Builder as I was able to get a game of both. We have brief discussions of a few other new games including Confusion: Espionage and Deception in the Cold War, Drako, On The Cards and Essence.

You can download the episode here.
