Bobby's Games

I will be posting monthly recaps of my gaming which I have been doing in GeekLists. I'll also be commenting on games on occasion, though I can tell you that I will be behind the curve because I just don't get to play the new games as soon as some people do.

So this should have been last week, but work was hectic and life got in the way of me having the time to post much.

Two weeks ago, we didn't play Cuba because the space which we had was just not big enough to get it played. I took it along last week and we ended up trying other things. So I am one of three in getting the games played. This week's game should be really easy to get played.

As I'm sure most of you know, San Juan is a simpler cousin to Race for the Galaxy. You pick one of the roles, everyone does it, and the person who picked the role gets an extra benefit. Then the next player picks a role, and so-on until everyone has gone, then the start player passes and the process starts again. I recently picked up the Alea Treasure Chest even though I had acquired a few of the expansions separately, just so I could get the extra cards for San Juan and I haven't even mixed them in with the base game, so this week I will do that.

Finding people willing to play shouldn't be a problem. the issue might be having more than four people available for a single game, but even then the number of available players fluctuates during the day so playing it should be easy.
