Stafferton Lodge – Menu Du Jour, November 16th 2011

Starters

Old Men of the Forest
A light variation of blind bidding on a set collection base and accompanied by a mild banter. Served 3 (and then 4).

7 Wonders
A satisfying entree of card drafting and resource trading braised on a tech tree liberally drizzled with Leaders and a Trois (From)Age sauce. Why not let our impartial Chef select your Wonder for you! (Served 4)

Main Course

Feudality
Hot from the evening before, served medium-rare, provides a filling (but not gluttonous) repast for up to six. Diced rolls stuffed with a selection of cubed resources and random events liberally sprinkled with a good humour. Quickly consumed and, yet, still satisfying. (for 5)

Dessert

Glory to Rome
A sweet classic to end a rich meal of gaming: a highly-interactive dish eminently suited to sharing, this modern take now comes with an extra portion of buildings to add more spice!

Note: due to a recent flood (which damaged our copies of Dominion, Agricola and Quarriors) there will be no Cheese course this evening.

P.S. Carl was obviously channeling Richard Dreyfus with this edible ediface:

Between that and the procession of playtesting for Boddle, we'll be lucky to get any real games in.
