Bobby's Games

I will be posting monthly recaps of my gaming which I have been doing in GeekLists. I'll also be commenting on games on occasion, though I can tell you that I will be behind the curve because I just don't get to play the new games as soon as some people do.

Last week's hasty choice of Vikings didn't get played. We had five people for part of the day, and when there were four I was more interested in playing other games.

This week's pick, The Hanging Gardens, was easy because it is both something quick to play and it is one of the few unpacked games on a shelf I can easily reach. I am not saying it isn't a good game nor am I saying that it is one I wouldn't want to play. I generally have been trying to pick games that haven't been played in a while, and I last played this in April of this year.

It's a terrific spatial/card drafting game which takes only a few minutes to play. I've felt competent at playing the game, but Christa was always really good at keeping large areas open which she was able to score again later in the game.

Hopefully the work on the house will be done soon and then I can get the games unpacked and readily available.

If she's an evil (in a good way) mind-controlling wench, then it would be really freaky. devil
