DotLD: Let the Zombie Slaying Commence!

I made the last few little changes to the files and finished cleaning them up. They have been submitted for approval to the DotLD file page. Be on the look out for three files: rules, gameboard, and score card.

Now my project will be to get these built into a more durable game. At the moment, I'm thinking of a folding board with the gameboard on one half and the score card on the other (with the score card laminated/protected for use with dry-erase marker or grease pencil).

I'll post photos of my progress with the project. Of course, this time of year, I don't anticipate getting started on it until sometime in January... whistle

I have been lurking in the background of all of these posts (like that zombie the crowd sees, but the poor victim doesn't) waiting to say congrats and thanks for all of your hard work in re-working this absolutely great game. I will now lurk on the file page waiting for the admins to release the precious treasure. zombie

BTW, when it comes out I'm gonna finally have something to mention on 365ZED. This whole being undead thing just isn't what it's cracked up to be. zombie

Thanks, Mark and Chris -- this was a lot of fun to do, not least because the game is fantastic to begin with. Actually, now I have a list going of other games I might tinker around with. (When I find the time...)

About time! sauron

Looks very good now and glad we could be of assistance in refining the game in various ways.

The Score Card was approved a few days ago: one down, two to go.

For anyone who has seen the Score Card on the DotLD file page, you probably noticed that I named it "Ripley Score Card". If you're wondering where "Ripley" came from, I figured it'd be a good idea to tie the three files together via their names. And since I went with Ripley for the name of the town, I used it for the file names to keep things simple.

EDIT:
All three files (rules, gameboard, and score card) have been approved and are on the DotLD files page!
