Way to go, Bubba.

As we neared the halfway point of our December Challenge, I got the opportunity to pick the game and I chose Igel Ärgern.

Igel Argern was one of my first Euro games, purchased back in the late 90s. We played it a bunch then but it drifted away into oblivion. As my kids have gotten older, it has made it back to the table more. This is our 22nd recorded play on BGG of a game I rate as an 8.

Melissa got off to a quick start while daughter and I promptly got stuck in the tar pits. Melissa continued to keep the lead, as none of us rolled anything to slow her down. She was the first to get a hedgehog home, followed quickly by son and daughter. Melissa then got a 2nd one home. I opted to keep a hedgehog out in an attempt to cover her 3rd Hedgehog since her 4th was trapped in the tar. Unfortunately, before I could trap her my daughter rolled a 4 and had to move her in.

Final Score: Melissa 3, Son and Daughter 1, Larry 0.

It wasn't all smooth sailing. I got trapped in a tar pit early, and the one that was freed from that pit went on to be part of the win. I had another one get trapped as well. So take that!
