Tonight, basketball practice and a late dinner left us with little time for a game. We wanted to keep the challenge going so we picked Giro Galoppo.

Giro Gallopo is a fun little race game with a surprising amount of screwage for a family game. It is fast playing and has top notch components. I rate it an 8 and this is our 19th recorded play on BGG.

Sometimes you guess right. Sometimes you guess wrong. I spent the game guessing wrong. It started when I had the first move, then promptly went to the rear of the pack. My 2nd move resulted in me going to the end of the pack. My third move . . . you get the picture.

By the mid-point of the race Melissa and my daughter were battling for first while me and my son kept pounding each other to insure we would have no chance to win.

It finally came down to the last turn. My daughter crossed the finish line first. But she was promptly displaced by Melissa who claimed the victory.

Finish: Melissa, Daughter, Son, Larry
