Hi all,

Another update. Finished with finals and now back to painting. I had a chance to clean the painting room a bit so I took some pictures of it. There is also a Dreadfleet Water Painting Tutorial at the end.

Here's a view of one half:

Everything is so messy, I have a lot of cleaning to do.

The display shelves:

Some close ups:

Here is the actual painting table:

The team in Billy's garage minus me (taking picture) and Anthoney.

Onto the actual paintings.

First update on the Earth Reborn models. Here is some more pictures. I am aiming to have them done at the end of next week.

STARCRAFT Zerg are finished, but I was too lazt to take them off the shelf to photograph.

A WiP of Commander Sorscha for Warmachine:

And the Dreadfleet Water Base Painting Tutorial!

I have had people ask me how to paint the water bases so I decided to make a mini tutorial this time painting them. The method is really fast, I got to the fourth step on all four sets in less than an hour. Step five will take me and hour or two on the four sets.

Step One:
I primed the bases black. Than I used Krylon Blue Fusion Spray paint to mist over layer leaving some darker area. An airbrush with Mordian Blue or Necron Abyss works too. If you can't do either, brushing on the colors works fine too.

Step Two:
I used a heavy overbrush with Citael Enchanted Blue. The overbrush should get about 60% of the raised areas.

Step 3:
Same as step two but I used a medium overbrush with Citadel Ice Blue.

Step 4:
I than used Citadel Asurman Blue to wash the bases. Tamiya Clear Blue works wonders as well too and leaves a glossy finish.

Step 5:
This is the hardest and most time consuming step. The tips of the waves are painted in white. Use the side of a detail brush to get just the very tops.

That's all for now. Thanks for looking, C&C Welcome! And we are now booking commission slots for April - May. PM if interested.

May I ask where that Lazy Susan paint tower came from? I have been searching high and low for one.
